About Me

Voice Actor - Storyteller - Communication and Digital Media Specialist

I best describe myself as a curious, lifelong learner and scholar of life.

Currently, my role as a Digital and Social Media Manager at the Seattle Medium centers on curating and disseminating content that resonates with the African American community, utilizing my expertise in digital marketing and social media strategies. Our team effectively manages multiple channels, reaching an audience of over 15,000 users, and optimizes digital presence through meticulous SEO practices.

However, after earning a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communication Studies from Western Washington University in 2020, I knew that I wanted to pursue a Master of Communication to better support and engage the BIPOC community through storytelling. I had the honor in the Fall of 2024 to be accepted into the University of Washington’s Communication Leadership program. For 21 months I balanced my life as a full-time Digital and Social Media Manager and graduate student. Earning my Master’s of Communication in Digital Media in the Spring of 2026. Throughout the program, I was able to develop my skills as both a digital media specialist and storyteller.

My desire for higher learning matched my passions as I was able to apply what I learned in the program to my workplace, personal, and philanthropic work.

Beyond the digital realm, my commitment to youth mentorship underscores the importance of social responsibility in my professional life. Collaboratively crafting development plans and engaging in career readiness workshops, I support the next generation, aligning these efforts with my competencies in customer relationship management and problem-solving.

I am in a place now in my life where I truly believe the sky is the limit as I pivot towards diversifying my opportunites after being inspired by my graduate program. I look forward to being challenged to adapt and to continue my journey as a curious scholar of life.
