FREQUENCY

Frequency, as a graphic novel concept, has been rattling around in my head for several years.

Being a fan of comic books, superheroes, and mysteries, I constantly find myself inspired to write down additional details for my original graphic novel. I have given much thought to the setting, characters, tone, and overall story of the graphic novel. The idea is so vivid that I believe, with the right team and resources, the adventures of Quincy Jones and Veronica Valentine will eventually make it to the pages of an officially published graphic novel.

Thanks to Rob Salkowitz’s Visual Storytelling and Transmedia course at the University of Washington, I now have the opportunity to present the potential of this Frequency as a transmedia project that I believe will resonate with audiences. Fans of superhero origin stories, science-fiction, and mysteries will find the world and character’s of Frequency both relatable and compelling.

TRANSPARENCY DISCLAIMER:

To satisfy the visual requirements of this pitch and project deliverable, AI was utilized to generate images for the characters and locations. The logo was hand drawn and then generated through AI. No AI was used in the creation of characters, locations, or story. Research was conducted without the use of AI to gather examples for panels. Additional reasearch was conducted to develop an accurate project deliverable with feedback from professor.

For Frequency, I want to work and collaborate with real artists and writers to build upon the foundations of Frequency through a story bible as outlined in the project deliverable.
