Exploring the Legitimacy and cultral impact of Seattle’s Graffiti and Murals as an art form

Seattle, a city known for its street art, has faced years of mixed reception and questioning- mainly surrounding the legitimacy of graffiti and murals as art.

Sincerely, Seattle seeks to showcase how street art is a well thought out and culturally impactful art form despite its complicated and controversial history in the Emerald City.

Local emcee, producer, and community organizer King Khazm lent his perspective on Seattle’s street art scene.

This collaborative mini documenatry was produced in Elliat Graney-Saucke’s Foundations of Documentary Storytelling course at the University of Washington.
